In Emmeloord, the potato capital of the world, welcome to TPC, The Potato Company. We are strong in the rapid development of new potato varieties, focusing on resistance to potato fatigue (AM), drought and diseases. Moreover, we have great expertise in growing and trading organic potatoes. TPC is SKAL-certified. For high global suitability of potato varieties, we have trial fields all over the world. You can see this for example on the page Photos. We grow according to the strictest safety standards and supply high-quality and sustainable seed potatoes. Since its establishment in 2004, TPC has developed a large number of its own varieties, which have now proven themselves, such as Monte Carlo and Toronto. TPC Research
In cooperation with independent breeders, we develop new potato varieties in our own breeding programme. These breeders are skilled entrepreneurs who can deliver quick results. As a result, TPC can register new varieties for the variety list after only 5 years on average. We test each variety at four locations worldwide, so that we can test all climate zones and day lengths.
