TPC's varieties: innovative and with high resistances

Since the launch of The Potato Company in Emmeloord in 2004, with our own R&D department, TPC research, (link to TPC research) we have developed dozens of unique and innovative potato varieties that have proven themselves. We are strong in potato varieties with high resistance to potato fatigue (AM). This is mainly seed potatoes that control both Globodera Rostochiensis (Ro) and Globedera Pallida (Pa). Disease resistance, such as Phytophthora, and drought also have our attention. We find that water availability is becoming increasingly problematic and in some places groundwater is salinising. This brings challenges for growing potatoes. TPC pays constant attention to this, as well as to the latest techniques.

Global sales

In addition, The Potato Company is an expert in growing and trading organic seed potatoes. We are SKAL-certified. We are also engaged in growing seed potatoes in pools and, as a trading house, we export seed potatoes to more than 50 countries (link to landing page worldwide).
